Overview

Red River is a street that doesn’t miss a beat. You can have a love affair with a plate of ribs, a date with live music, make nice with an ice cold craft brew, and wet your whistle with whiskey drinks. About Your Guide

Hi I'm Chris, Co-Founder of The Guild! My family & I recently returned to Austin after a 13 year absence and are thrilled to be back. When I'm not drinking a Topo Chico based cocktail on East 6th, you can find me stroller jogging on Town Lake, swimming with my 2 year old in Barton Springs, sunrise wakesurfing with friends on Lake Austin or willing Longhorns Football back to national prominence at Darrell K. Royal Stadium. Hook 'em!

Wouldn’t recommend. Homeless people everywhere. Saw a drug deal and two people tweaked out yelling at nothing. The murals were neat but not worth the uneasy feeling of the surroundings. And this was at 11:00am in the morning.

A great mid day tour! Stubbs BBQ didnt have live music at 4 oclock on a Moday, but that’s not entirely surprising lol. Thanks for the fun time!

I now see why Austin is such a hip city. Chris' recommendations were spot on. I completely would have walked past some of these places and not realized what I was missing - big mistake. I'm heading back to Jim Jims tomorrow - digging how close everything is from The Guild.

Had a couple hours to kill before a flight and this walk was perfect. I had no idea what a “water ice” was, but when it’s 80 degrees outside orange water ice really hits the spot. Also, easy tiger is a gem. Beer + outdoor patio = 😁
